The Culture Fund of the Arkhangelsk Region is a socially oriented non-profit organization established in 2018 on the initiative of the Government of the Arkhangelsk Region.

Fund’s operating principles
The activities of the Culture Foundation are focused on long-term
Effect. The priority is to support children and youth
initiatives, development of partnerships and networking
interaction with organizations and individuals,
representing the public sector and non-profit
community. Among the main principles of the Fund’s work are –
transparency and openness of information about our work for
partners and representatives of target audiences.
The Foundation’s activities are based on the latest, expanded understanding of the culture itself, its boundaries and social functions. Contemporary culture is considered by the Foundation as a powerful lever for the social and economic development of the Arkhangelsk region.

Systematic support of the non-state cultural sector of the Arkhangelsk region.

Implementation of strategic goals and objectives of cultural development, rather than financing current needs.

Raising the intellectual level and potential of local creative communities.
Support forms
Open contests
Within the framework of open competition lines, selected winners receive financial support for the implementation of their projects.
Main selection criteria:
* Compliance of the project with the statutory goals and objectives of the Foundation;
* Focus on development and project approach;
* Having clear goals, plan, budget, KPI
Own projects
The Foundation can independently plan and implement its own projects, involving partner organizations, experts and specialists from outside (as required). This applies to projects that are of fundamental importance for the activities of the Fund as a whole.
Out-of-competition support
In a number of cases, promising projects that do not fall into the open competition lines, but correspond to the strategic directions of the Fund’s activities, can be supported out of competition. This form of support is carried out on the basis of the preliminary work of experts who, as a result of a closed tender or an analysis of the situation, decide to issue a grant to a specific organization.
